CAN THO – Capitalizing on advancements in the global
obstetrics safety was emphasized at an annual scientific conference, ACP 2018,
held by Phuong Chau International Hospital in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho
today, October 7.
At the conference, some 800 delegates heard and discussed 42
reports related to the fields of obstetrics, pediatrics and infertility among
others as presented by six doctors from Japan’s Kishokai Medical Corporation
and 20 local doctors and experts.
Discussing the obstetrics field, there were four sessions of
discussion with 19 reports on utilizing the latest advancements in obstetrics
safety.
At the conference, doctors of ACP, Can Tho Obstetrics
Hospital, Tu Du Maternity Hospital in HCMC, the University Medical Center HCMC,
and Binh Dan Hospital exchanged their experiences with doctors from Japan,
which has the world’s lowest premature birth and neonatal death rate.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ho, director of Phuong Chau
International Hospital, said that the conference was aimed at completing
comprehensive reproduction health care chain and helping the hospital speed up
meeting the JCI standard.
Phuong Chau International Hospital in the Mekong Delta City
of Can Tho earlier signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Japan’s
Kishokai Medical Corporation on July 7 to promote reproductive health services
in Vietnam, and was chosen to make a Poster presentation at the International
Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare in Melbourne, Australia in September.
