Seminar spotlighting university-enterprise model scheduled for next week

A backdrop of a seminar entitled “Develop University-Enterprise Model” scheduled for July 30 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho

CAN THO – The Saigon Times Group and Nam Can Tho University will jointly organize a seminar entitled “Develop University-Enterprise Model” on July 30 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, aimed at promoting sustainable and lawful partnerships between businesses and universities. 

The conference will be co-chaired by Professor Vo Tong Xuan, president of the university, and Tran Minh Hung, Editor-in-Chief of the Saigon Times Group. 

It is expected to attract 400 delegates who are educational administrators, businesspeople, lecturers and students of the university as well as local media agencies.

Nguyen Tien Dung, chairman of the university’s board of directors, will present preliminary implementation results of the model at the university and development strategies for the next five years.

Besides, Nguyen Du Ha Long from Nam Can Tho Trading Company will deliver a speech on measures to develop a travel firm model at the school, while Nguyen Phuong Lam, deputy director of the Vietnam Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Can Tho, will speak about the link between educational training programs and enterprises’ needs.
 
The event will take place at Nam Can Tho University in An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District.
